Curate - Digital Workspaces

Overview

This guide will provide an introduction to adding, configuring, and editing Digital Workspaces for your Project. To learn more about them and other content, please visit Content Types in NimbleStory | 📕 Digital Workspaces.

 

NOTE: To perform this function you must have the proper Create and Edit permissions applied to your user account. If you do not see the Add Content card on your screen, contact your Project or Org Admin for support.

Adding a Digital Workspace

Adding a workspace to your Project is as easy to configure as most other forms of content. In the example gif below you will see how this is done by linking a board hosted within Miro.

  1. Select the Workspace from the Add Content options presented.

  2. You will be presented with the option to add a new Workspace from another application or leverage NimbleStory’s own NimbleSpace Workspace.

  3. If you are using an external application copy the share link from the board and paste it into the field below and select Check URL. NimbleStory will validate the link and ensure it is properly set up.

  4. If there are no errors with the URL, you can select Submit and you will be directed to the Create Workspace view that is similar to the Create Content view.

  5. Within the Create Workspace page, you will see that NimbleStory has already provided some of the basic information about the Workspace that was collected when the system checked the URL. You add Tags, update the Description, and other elements of the asset.

  6. To complete the process, select Save in the upper right of the screen which will prompt NimbleStory to add the workspace to the Project and return to you the Project Details view.

Each workspace provider may require you to take different permission actions to make the board available to view. Be sure to check your settings as this may cause issues for your team.

Editing a Workspace

Just like with other assets in your Project, you can edit and update your various Workspaces. To do so, select the Edit icon at the bottom of the Workspace card from the Project Details view. This will take you to the Edit view and be populated with all of the existing information about the Workspace for you to change or modify.

NOTE: If you are updated the URL for the Workspace that his hosted elsewhere you will need to select Check URL to validate it is configured properly. If it is, NimbleStory will ask if you would like it to update the known information about the Workspace such as its Title and other known information.
